"We know from our commercial customers that surface disinfection in public spaces such as hospitals and social facilities is time-consuming and complex. This is also a problem in fitness studios, reception areas or relaxation islands in companies," says Roedeske. "Disinfection after each use is time-consuming and not suitable for everyday use. This market would have completely collapsed for us without suitable hygiene products," he is certain. In his search for a suitable product for the surfaces of the massage chairs, he came across the company TERGIMUS encountered, named after the Latin term tergere = to clean. Both companies care about health and sustainability, so working together was obvious. The medical cleaning agent PUREMANENT is water-based and is also planned to be bottled in bottles made from marine plastic.
“It has been clinically proven that SARS-CoV-2 viruses are sterile for up to seven days after a single application. Intermediate disinfection is no longer necessary,” explains founder and owner Christian Thuß von TERGIMUS. The Chair of Microbiology at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg has confirmed the antimicrobial depot effect of the agent. "The customer benefit is enormous. There is no need to disinfect surfaces several times a day, and at the same time the active depot prevents new colonization by germs," says Roedeske.

"Our own series of tests have proven that there is a clear difference to alcohol-based disinfectants. Sensitive surfaces such as artificial or real leather show no color abrasion, and light colors do not cause any color change or shading," explains Manuela Radu. She carried out the test series herself in the massage chair world and is sure that the PUREMANENT products make their contribution to protecting health - not least by saving time and reducing costs by over 60% compared to the use of commercially available surface disinfectants.
