From the hand massager to the Casada Titan massage chair – Tina reports

For many people, massages are an effective way to reduce everyday stress and promote physical relaxation. But the effect that we expect from massages does not only come from the massage itself, but also from additional factors surrounding the treatment itself. From hand massagers to regular massage appointments in a studio, Tina has now found her way to her own massage chair.

Today she tells us what the differences are and why massages are not always as relaxing as we would like them to be. Tinauns also reports on her individual experience with Massage Chair World – from advice to delivery. Like many people, Tina's working posture in front of the computer is one of the main factors that leads to tension in the back and neck area.

Tina, you decided to get a massage chair, how did that come about?

Because of my job, I always have tension due to the sitting position in front of the computer. Partly in the back, partly in the neck and I therefore needed regular massages. Of course, that was very time-consuming and you're not always that flexible. As a solution-oriented person, I thought about how I could bring relaxation into my home and then came up with the idea of ​​buying a massage chair.

Of course I tried other things too. Among other things, handheld devices that should also be suitable for massaging certain areas of the body. However, I had to realize that just handling it leads to renewed tension, as you are never really treated in a relaxed manner, but have to constantly guide the device. Not so easy once you try it for ten or twenty minutes straight. It's just not as comfortable as sinking into a massage chair, closing your eyes, and instantly relaxing. This makes it easier for me to wind down and forget about everyday life; that was very important to me.

You got advice about massage chairs in our showroom, how was that for you?

The great thing for me was that there was a really large selection. This was not limited to one price segment, but ranged from entry-level models to high-end models. I was able to test what the differences were, how models felt and get a good picture. This allowed me to gradually decide for myself which functions were less important to me and which I really wanted to have.

What was also very interesting for me was being able to feel it directly; OK, this massage chair doesn't suit my body and me and the other model is just made for me. Advice was also necessary in this regard, during which it was repeatedly emphasized that the massage chair really had to fit your personal preferences, but also your individual anatomy, in order to be able to develop its full effect. You quickly realize that not every expensive high-end model is the perfect choice, which was very exciting for me.

Two things that really struck me as positive about the advice were, on the one hand, that there was no pressure or artificial pressure to buy. You really took a lot of time without being intrusive, I particularly appreciate that. What was also important to me was that if something were to break, I had a competent contact person who I could talk to and who would be there to help me.

At other retailers, the responsibility for this is passed on to the manufacturer and as a customer you then feel relatively left alone. This was also noticeable in my queries via email and telephone. Excellent accessibility and always competent and helpful - hence my purchase decision.

You chose the Casada Titan – why is that?

In fact, I shortlisted two models, but the feeling of the Titan was the deciding factor. I took a seat and it just fit perfectly. The second important criterion was the yoga stretch function, in which my back is stretched slightly in the opposite direction. For me, this offers the ideal balance to sitting in a sitting position for hours, in which I always sit hunched forward - which is something you shouldn't do. All in all, the model was ideal for me.

Delivery and assembly rounded off the purchase again

I was excited about it too. The preparation was excellent and ranged from finding out door widths and spatial conditions to laying out carpets to protect against damage. The work was done very professionally and carefully and at the end there was an instruction with helpful tips so that I can get off to a perfect start with my first massage in my own four walls.

So you will definitely prefer the massage chair to the hand massager in the future?

You can rely on that! In retrospect, I probably gained as much tension with the hand massager as I originally wanted to eliminate. This makes me appreciate my new Casada Titan a lot more. I can really only repeat myself here and summarize how great the experience was to discover the right model for myself and with this warm and professional advice. This will make my everyday working life a little more relaxed and I'm already looking forward to it - thank you very much.
